Job Purpose
Development of the event programs and assisting in the planning and execution of the project plans which includes Roadshow, IT show. This includes delegate management plans which present what delegates experience during the events. He/She reports and updates on the project plans to all event stakeholders.
He/She is organized and resourceful and has excellent multi-tasking skills. He/She is able to organize all details of the projects into a clear and efficient project plan for the operations department to execute. He/She is also able to make fast decisions to prevent any issues that may arise.
Description
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
To manage turnkey projects that encompass but are not limited to budgeting, liaison with venues and external vendors, setup, and teardown.
Prepare and Present Event Proposals for clients and landlords.
Build and maintain a good relationship with clients and landlords.
Oversees project management timelines, details, and task executive.
Provide on-site support for assigned events.
Ensure smooth operations of events.
Undertake any other ad hoc related duties as assigned.
Able to work under a tight deadline.
Able to brainstorm and develop event proposals and presentations.
Create a new business line for the company.
Prepare and present forecast and report on the event outcome.
Requirements and skills:
Experienced in a wide range of events a plus, eg. Virtual Events, Exhibitions, Product Launches, roadshows, etc.
Able to use photoshop/illustrator is a bonus but not a requirement.
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in related field.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; and good work flow planning and organization skill is preferable.
Experience in MICE and events will be an advantage.
Proficient in MS Office.
Able to multitask.
Ability to engage effectively with senior executives, top management personnel from the industry.
Superior research and analytical skills with a creative slant.
Ability to support sales by building networks and relationships with clients, speakers, the media, associates, partners, third parties and other intermediaries and potential clients of the Company.
