Turkish Exports Trade Fair (19-21 March 2023)
Under the patronage of Saudi Minister of Commerce and Chairman of the
Board of Directors of the General Authority of Foreign Trade of the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia H.E Dr. Majid Alkassabi and his Turkish counterpart H.E Dr. Mehmet Mus, a
first-of-its-kind Turkish Export Products Trade Fair (Turk Expo 2023) was held at
Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center (RICEC) from March 19 to 21
from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Turk Expo 2023 objective was to introduce the products and services provided by Turkish companies and to provide an opportunity for meeting with various exporters and importers in the construction sector, with the participation of 150 Turkish companies.
the expo covered an area of 7,000 square meters, focusing on export products and showcasing a wide range of industrial technology, beauty and cleaning products, as well as home and furniture, packaging, fashion/textile, food/agricultural products, building materials, drugs/medical products and electrical and electronics industries.
It also provided an access to the latest industry trends and challenges, which enabled businesses to keep pace with the latest technological and market developments.

The event is considered to be effective in terms of renewing the relations between Turkiye & Saudi Arabia. Despite being first, it drew a lot of attention from both countries, as seen in
the numbers. Riyadh is being positioned as exhibition hub of Saudi Arabia, the size and the number of the exhibition centers should be increased accordingly. More Turkish
companies could have taken place at the fair, if the prices were more affordable. Considering the highest cost item is the construction of the stands, alternative suppliers-cheaper
yet quality service- is needed.
